Bro, I really love the SEGA Genesis bass so much. Already at the beginning of Dawn of Earthion from Earthion, you can hear that bass playing a catchy bassline. Some perso say that Yuzo Koshiro is the godfather of chiptune. Well, I don't listen to him so I don't really know. But a few time after, I realized that this bass is everywhere in Sonic the Hedgehog ost which uses Sega Genesis's Bass and this bass comes from a the Yamaha YM2612 chip. Like that's crazy, ain't it?
Music composer inspired by '80s and '90s video game musics and a bunch of jazz fusion tracks. Jazz Fusion is my dopamine !
